I got a Tom Ridenour Mouthpiece at the ICS conference in '86 in Seattle.
At the time, he hadn't marked it with any kind of identifier (and was
working as an independent) - so when asked, I usually respond that it's a
'no-name' brand - should have come in a yellow box with black writing.
At the ICS conference in Quebec in 90/91? I met Tom at the Leblanc booth
and asked him for the equivalent to 'his' mouthpiece in the Woodwind line -
we couldn't find one that was as nice... (ain't it always the way?!)
I'm very happy with it, couldn't tell you if it looks like a Chedeville or
what.
There is a clarinetist/technician in Vancouver who has a whole mess of
Chedeville blanks that he finishes periodically and sells...
my $.02
