My original comment was prompted by a question as to what commercial
reeds work better than others. I did not mean to allege (if that is the case
that Vandoren (not LeBlanc) and Glotin) are engaging in unfair practices.
I thought that the list-readers would be interested to know what goes on
in other areas. I think it would be nice to have something similar here
in the United States, to be able to buy only the reeds that work well.
But since we can't do that, I quess we have to look to the next best
thing. Thankfully, there are lots of good brands to choose from.
Personally, I feel better buying from a company in which I helped
develop a product than from a company where I did not. So I hope that
this dispells the notion that I accused Vandoren of unfair practice.
Jeepers! Happy holidays all.
