I've played on both R13's and Prestiges, and the difference is not dramatic
enough for me to justify adding $1000 to the price tag. However, I have only
tried one or two Prestiges. Larry McDonald, professor of clarinet at Oberlin,
also seems to find R13's just as good as Prestige's.
