Well, here's one vote for the Vandoren V-12 - *still* after all this
time, they remain (for me, at least) the most consistent. I can always
use every reed in a box for something - either for me or one of my students.
And another vote for the number 1 technique for having a good performance
reed (My students always know they can come to me for a good reed - they
wonder how I do it): Don't practise! Of course, a good performance reed
isn't of much use without a good performance *mouth* - still ---
