Dear Kirstin,

I hope your not trying to use one read for your 3-4 hours per day. I play
a reed for 30-45 min. at a sitting and then use another. This, of course,
means that you will need several good "practice" reeds at any one time,
which is not a bad idea. I keep them in the Vandoren Reed Case which
seems to help them to play consistently esp. during the winter, dry, months.
