Piotr & All,
Your question was concerning the Leblanc Symphony IV clarinet.
The best guess is that the instrument was manufactured in the 60's. I
do not know the exact bore size, I would estimate the bore size at
between 14.60mm and 14.70 mm. But I can tell you that it was not a
polycylindrical bore, similar to the new Leblancs and the Buffets. It
was a plain cylindrical bore. Leblanc's use of the polycylindrcal bore
came much later.
I asked Tom Ridenour about this model and he said it plays quite
well and was indestructible. He said, "When the world destructs in
several thousand years, the cock roaches will still have these
instruments to play." (Those of you who know Tom will understand his
humor. His favorite cartoon is "Far Side.")
The exact date of manufacture can be determined by the serial
number. I hope this helps.

Dave Kaminsky, Leblanc
