Don't college professors get paid for their educational work?
Couldn't any communication on this mailing list by clarinet
professionals meet a loose definition of commerciality?
We're all involved in commerce, aren't we?

The net has changed radically. Fortunately, users have begun to pay their
own way, so the Internet is no longer a government monopoly. Legitimate
concerns about our tax money funding unacceptable activities are almost
a thing of the past now. This means that we have the freedom to determine
for ourselves what we consider acceptable.

I do believe that we should be sensitive to the wishes of our sponsor,
though, who provides us machine time and storage space.
