Anyone out there have a book called "Improve Your Doubling" by Chris Vadala?
I'm thinking about ordering it and wanted to get the opinions of anyone that
has it already. Is it any good (worth the price)? I am particularly
interested in it because the ad I'm looking at say it can help with
transposition and playing harmony on the spot.

Also, anyone have any suggestions on a relatively inexpensive sopranno Sax?
I want to buy one, but don't want to spend the money on a pro model since I
won't be playing it that much. I've been told to stay away from Revere,
E.M. Winston, and The Woodwind brands. Others have suggested Amati & Evette
as good models.

Private email suggested, so as not to infuriate the folks that could care
less.
