Frankly folks, I don't think that giving list prices on this 'list' is
inappropriate (and realize that I may be invoking the wrath of unseen
internet Gods by declaring so).

I don't think there's a difference between me, or Dan or anyone, saying
"Oh, I can get a brand X clarinet/mouthpiece/barrel/reed/case/etc/etc/etc"
at the local store for $X.xx (Cdn)" and David providing the sticker price.
In fact, I think it's a useful comparison.

My impression of David's participation on this list is that he's a clarinet
player who happens to work for Leblanc, and has carefully declared himself
to be so. It's not like Leblanc has sent him along to infiltrate the list
and sell us all clarinets and schtuff.

In the grand expanding world of electronic communication, there are going to be
many issues of what is and is not appropriate - let's save our energies for the
bigger stuff later on!
