It isn't a "put-on" that will work. With my Reed-Dual machine a template
was supplied with a reed curvature--the finished and squared blank in
put into the template and "sanded" down to shape--gently. The problem with
some reed clippers is that they crush the reed fibers off. I have several
and the Vandoren has a replaceable blade and some adjusting screws. But I
have never been able to really get the Vandoren to cut evenly no matter
how I have tried. Just thought I would add my 2cents--gotta run.
