Since there was no moderator which appeared when I asked the
question, and a few days have passed, I will now ask everyone. . .

Does anyone know of a Selmer bass clarinet for sale?? It
appears that I would rather have a low e-flat instrument
because of the better sound, although a low c bass clarinet
would have the full range. I am specifically looking for an
old used instrument in good enough shape to try out. I will
have no way of trying it out if the pads are missing. And
please, no Selmer instruments which only go to low E-natural. I
am just not interested.

I am ready to deal now, because I have accepted gigs on bass
clarinet, not knowing where the heck I am going to get a bass.
I keep saying "I'll find one, yes I will." And I haven't
although 2 months have passed.

Thank you. Any sorry to all you who may feel this is
inappropriate use for this. I do feel that commercial use of
this board is way out of line. I really don't want to read
advertisements for all the instrument manufacturers, and any
stuff they may be trying to sell. Just my opinion. . .although
wasn't this discussed in detail about 9 months ago?
