Chris, I do not detect any significant differences in my playing
with either the angled neck or the non-angled neck. I did not
expect such a phenomenon to occur. I got it to help my neck and
this it has done. I think my sound is the same with the angled
neck but who knows. On my A bass the neck is not angled and I
am invariably less comfortable with it. In two weeks Nutcracker
comes on and I much prefer the B-flat parts to the A parts because
my neck does not get strained.
I must admit that the posting about the disadvantages of an angled
neck have left me very uncertain and very confused. I must contemplate
my navel for a while and just think about it.
