Jazzman,
Is the Bozza you referred to the Lucioles? In our clairnet choir
here at CMU, we performed it with six of us last year. I was on Bass,
my buddy on contra. If i remember correctly (I can check with him later)
he read his part like i read mine:the low seven finger F sharp was just
below the bass staff. I couldn't tell you how he did the D.

YOu have me curious now, so I'll check with him.
