Band to orchestra transriptions are rare. The only one I can think of
is Vaughn-Williams' Folk Song Suite (changing the trumpet solo in the
first movement to a clarinet solo for some unknown reason). I know
that I have heard others that I know were originally for band, but I can't
remember them now.
