A couple of days ago, the UMaine Symphonic Band played a concert at a
local middle school, to a full house (of relatively, I'm sure. :-) ).
We played "The Master of the Sword" from _Pagan_Dances_ dated 1992,
_Sang_ dated 1993, and several older pieces, including
_George_Washington_Bridge_. IMHO, the Symphonic Band is much better
than the Orchestra, which I don't believe has a full complement of
players. FWIW....
