Dear Mr. Oehler,

Hello! I was so thrilled to hear from you! I saw your name on the
net and I thought about writing to you, but I didn't think you'd remember
me.
The clarinet teacher search has been frustrating, but okay. We've
had some good candidates come in. There are still more to come.
I have been playing a lot this year, which thrills me to death. I
played the clarinet and bass clarinet parts in Dominick Argento's
opera,"Postcard from Morocco." They had to be the hardest parts I've ever
played. I will be giving a recital next semester, too. I will play the
Debussy "Premiere Rhapsody", Schumann "Fantasy Pieces", Poulenc Sonata for
two clarinets, Sutermeister "Capriccio", and the Bernstein Sonata.
How are things with you? Drop me a line when you get the chance, and
thank you for writing to me! It was great to hear from you!

Sincerely,

Lindsay Williams
