It is indeed Hans Rudolf StaLDer and his wife, Ursala Burkhard (if I
remember her name correctly). Two more duos unmentioned here:
Serenade by Willy Burkhard - European publisher, can't remember who
12 tone in the Krenek vein, so reasonably pleasant and somewhat
melodic
Bicinium IV by Allan Blank, published Roncorp - five movements, hard
but worth the effort

My wife is a flutist, and after 20 years+ of playing this repertoire, we
had a somewhat easier time of the Carter. We found that learning the
parts was the major (time-consuming) difficulty. After that, the ensemble
wasn't so bad.
