Cindy,

Morton Gould wrote six short pieces for flute and clarinet in
1972 entitled, "Duo for Flute and Clarinet." It was written as a wedding
gift for two of his friends and was aimed at their playing level, which
was intermediate, at best. Even though the music music looks fairly easy,
the literature for that combination is so limited that it might be worth
having. (Also, Gould is one of my favorite composers -- he's done some
amazing things for clarinet, which most players aren't aware of.)

The publisher is listed as G & C Music Corporation/Chappell &
Co., Inc.

If you were to expand your flute/clarinet inquiry to include
piano or piano accompaniment, the possibilities become more interesting,
even beyond the standard repertoire. If that's the case, please let me know.
