Does the Buffet that you tried seem altogether more resistant, like the
sound is smaller and more contained? If so, this may be the reason. You
may need to experiment with your tongue position, or the force and amount
of blowing to find a combination that works for you. Of course, you
won't know until you play on the Buffet for a while. You will make
changes subconsciously just by practicing on it.
