I am thinking of buying a used Buffet R-13 Bb clarinet. I played one
yesterday and it sounded great. It was not particularly pretty, but I
guess that represents character. I had one problem. I had some trouble with
articulation in the upper register. I sort of feel that was more the result
of my playing and the instrument being less forgiving than the mid-range
Yamaha I now use. If any one has any thoughts on this, I would really appreciate
it, since my dad is willing to part with the bucks.
