The Selmer Signet Soloist (I presume this is the one to which you refer)
is a good quality semi-professional model. The Soloist Model 100 comes
with silver plated keys but is otherwise similar, I believe, to the
regular soloist model. Assuming intonation is good, this should be a
fine and durable instrument for the advancing student. Would probably be
satisfactory through high school or for casual after high school use.
Would not be satisfactory for a music major. Enjoy.
