Michael--

I have played stock barrels, Charles Bay barrels, Moennig barrels, and
recently, Chadash barrels (pronounced huh-DAHSH). My Moennig barrel on
my Bb is good, and the Chadash was almost identical in sound, but I made
great improvements on my A clarinet's feel and sound by switching to a
Chadash barrel.

Buffet company seems to like Guy Chadash's work, as well, because every
professional level Buffet clarinet now comes with a Chadash barrel. I
don't know Mr. Chadash, but I can get his phone number: (212)239-7187.
Address: 440 W 41st St., Ste 3A/ New York, NY 10036.

Check this stuff out: you'll love it! He also makes mouthpieces and
works on instruments, but I think that his barrels are his strongest point.
