To Chris:

The principal clarinetist in the Seattle Symphony is Chris
Sereque (pronounced sir-EEK) and I think he is a great player. I have
heard him only once, playing Lohengrin with Seattle opera last summer.

I spend a bit of time in Walla Walla, Washington because my parents live
there and have thought several times of trying to arrange a lesson with
Sereque and then taking a road trip to Seattle--since you are at Mercer
Island, you ought to call him sometime, and ask for a lesson!
