I'm working on the Kupferman piece mentioned above and would appreciate
your comments on the appropriate liberties to take in its interpretation.
To what extent should it "swing"? How about ornamentation over and above that
which the composer has written? (I'd like to respect the composer's intentions
but don't want to prejudice my own interpretation by listening to a recording
before I've had a chance to think about it myself.)
