Hi. My name is Syd Polk, and I live halfway between San Fransisco
and San Jose. I am a programmer, but was once a music major, and
now play in several groups here in the Bay Area. I play bari sax
in the Ohlone College Jazz Band, alto, conta-alto, and contrabass
clarinets in the Ohlone College Wind Symphony, and Bb clarinet
in the Foothill College Symphonic Wind Ensemble. I also play
all of the clarinets, saxes and flutes in local pit orchestras.

I consider myself to be equally adept at bari sax and bass clarinet,
and they are my best instruments.
