I had no trouble subscribing, that was to listserv@-----.net with "sub
klarinet jeff kruys" in the message body. But to post to the list,
klarinet@-----.edu

I guess cuny is some sort of gateway for systems who can't mail to bitnet
addresses for whatever reason. I got this info from the roadmap "course"
which is also on listserv. Glad to help!
