Andrew, try this: Touch the roof of your mouth with the tip of your
tongue, but keep it relaxed, not "reaching" for the roof of your mouth.
Now just blow as you would on the clarinet, but without it at first. If
you begin to develope a vibration between the tongue and the roof of
your mouth, i.e. it's working, try it with a clarinet, but make sure not
to "bite," as it will "clamp" down on the tongue, not allowing it to
vibrate. Good luck,
