Re Dan's reply to my message about playing bass clarinet, I would
like to clarify that yes, I do think that bass clarinet should be played
with a different embouchure than soprano clarinet. I don't have the
benefit of Dan's modified gooseneck, so I am referring only to the
mouthpiece of my own Selmer bass-with-low-c-extension. There is no way I
could play this with a soprano embouchure, as the angle of entry into the
mouth is completely different. I was not aware of contradicting myself.
