For clarinet players in the San Francisco Bay area, there is a first
performance in the United States of the Mozart Requiem in the Duncan
Druce edition scheduled for San Jose on Nov. 12 at the church of St.
John Vianney (spelling ?). Bob Weil and I will be playing basset horn.
It is a most remarkable completion containing much new music that you
will have never heard before. One movement is a basset horn concerto
(Benedictus).
