Subj: National sound characteristics tape on its way to Jim Freeman

OK. Everything is in place. The tape with 20 excerpts is on its way
to Jim Freeman (who has asked for two weeks for turnaround due to his
schedule and I fully agree), the answer list was posted to Clark Fobes
electronically and a copy of that note sent to myself. When Jim
posts what he believes are his answers (numbered 1 through 20), I
will repost that very note and Fobes will confirm that it is precisely
the note I sent to him. This will establish closure and we can then see
how many Jim has gotten correctly.

Let's set a tentative date for conclusion of this matter on or before
Nov. 15.
