Yes, I realize I pieced two separate posts together, but I just want to say
BINGO!!
I personally have not been recieving any duplicates of anything. Nor have I
been sending any (other than the occasional repeat while replying to a similar
question). I happen to like to have my (often hair-brained) theories proven
wrong, as I view it as a learning experience. Everyone on the list may not
be as thick-skinned and tolerant as I am, and I think we should encourage,
rather than discourage people from speaking their mind, even if we think it
is childish or stupid, or doesn't help us improve ourselves. Is it any wonder,
that some people think that most/all of us on the net are simply dying for the
chance to flame people. It never ceases to amaze me when I find a letter in my
box (my electronic one that is) from somebody or other from one of the 5 or so
lists I am on who has written me to thank me for being so polite when answering
their dumb questions rather than flaming them. (I don't find myself in this
position on this list, since there are many of you both more experienced and
more knowledgable on the subject than I).

While I do think that we as a society (in out politcal koreshedness) are
becoming too nice for our own good, I don't think being rude is the answer
either. Now I realize that the post (not to mention other posts) about repeats
was most likely not meant as anything other than helpful, but you should have
made sure that it was not a problem with the listserv, or your postmaster, etc.
.. before posting to the group. If you did, and my postmaster is somehow
weeding out the duplicates (yeah right), I apologize for my ignorance.

Peace,
