We welcome you and your comments to the KLARINET list Michael. I am
very pleased that you liked the basset clarinet stuff. It is rewarding
to hear a younger person, such as yourself, say that he is working
on the Copland Concerto. At your age, not only would I not have understood
the work, I would never have been able to master it.

Only one minor point of suggestion. You say that you know the Mozart
concerto. And you probably mean that you have played it (and probably
well, too). But if you think you know it now, wait until you are 30.
And then wait until you are 40. And then, by 50, you will begin to
understand that the slow movement is said "to have fallen from heaven."

Personally, I am still learning it.
