Christopher Zello has remarked that he is getting certain messages more than
one time. And he has also expressed the fact that some of the things that he
gets are not, in his opinion, sufficiently interesting to justify being posted.

Perhaps he is right. But I think that each of us, beginner and experienced
player alike, each should feel welcome and comfortable about posting anything
that strikes our fancy without being rebuked for doing so.

This is particuarly true with the younger players who find their way onto the
net, have 1,001 preconceptions, 10,000 good ideas, 50,000 unformed ideas,
and 100,000 questions. I encourage them to share their views with us and
earnestly hope that they are not discouraged by Christopher's concerns.

As for getting messages more than once, that is a problem all of us are
having, Christopher. I wish it would go away, but rather than miss anything on
the board, I am prepared to accept the occasional inconvenience.

I also am very pleased that you liked the recent discussion on the basset
clarinet. I hope that you, personally, will share your broad knowledge with us
all. We can all use it, and more.
