If someone is seeing numerous duplicates over a short period of time, it may
be a local phenomenon. If that is the case, it may not be the fault of the
one posting the message.

I haven't been seeing duplicates messages here. The only "nasty note" I've
seen recently, appeared to refer to reposting messages.

The inference was that since no response was received from posting an earlier
message, it must have been lost. The note suggested that everyone actually
received it the first time, but had no comment, and reposting it only served
to stuff mailboxes. In other words, we heard you the first time, but we're
ignoring you!

As far as nastiness is concerned, not everyone would have interpreted the
message that way. I would hope that any critical message would contain a
clear description of the problem, and provide a positive recommendation on
how it can be fixed. I realize that even the most constructive criticism, is
still criticism, and may be upsetting.
