The other mouthpieces that I've personally tried were the Larry Combs, the
Robert Marcellus, and the Vandoren B-45. I guess what I like about the Lurie
Premium is that it blows really freely, and it gives me a focused but relaxed
and full sound. It's just extremely comfortable to play.

I was also impressed with the consistant quality of the 5 or so that I ordered
to try before purchasing. It was difficult to choose which one was the best--
each one seemed to improve my tone very noticably.
