Oliver; Stanley Drucker has been with the NY Phil for over thirty years
as principal clarinetist. Harold Wright was with the Boston Sym. for
nearly, golly, 20 years, coming from the National Sym in Washington D.C.
Try anything, but especially Beethoven Sym recordings done in the last few
decades and you will hear them both. Also, they both have done the Mozart
Concerto with their respective orchestras. I don't think you will have any
trouble marking the difference with the Mozart, but buried in the orchestra
it becomes very interesting. If you are really interested in styles may I
suggest the mid 50's recording of the Mozart
with Reginal Kell and another recording of the Mozart with J.Lancelot.

PS I have not detected any electronic mud slung at my screen and I
sincerely hope that my opinions are seen as just that, opinions.
