I'm so glad the subject of reeds has come up, for I need some advice. Right
now I'm trying both V-12 and Olivieri reeds, but I'm not necessarily
satisfied with either. Although some of it is that I don't know much about
doctoring reeds, I would still like to see if that's not the sole problem.
So my basic question is: What brands of reeds have all of you had success
with, and how do they compare to other brands (as in strength).
I know that what works for you may not work for me, but I also don't have
much money to spend on many boxes of reeds, especially if they don't work. I
hope someone can help me narrow the field. Thank you.
