There is another excellent recording of the Poulenc Sonata for 2 Clarinets by
Das Klarinettenduo - David Smeyers and Beate Zelinsky - on the CPO label.
The # is 999 116-2. Recorded in W. Germany, it is by all reports available
at the larger record outlets in the USA - elswhere, I couldn't say. Also on
this recording are works by Bruno Maderna, J Krebs, Ruth Craford Seeger (yes,
Pete's mom!), Koechlin, Hespos, Georg Kroll, and NY Counterpoint by Steve
Reich. They play ALL the varios parts - fantastic CD.
