I guess I will follow suit and do the intro. thing, on the chance that some
of my former classmates are also on this mailing list...

My name: Eric Anderson
Location: Baton Rouge, LA (for school) Minneapolis, MN (for home)
Age: 21

I am currently a senior at Louisiana State University, where I am principal
clarinet of the Wind Ensemble. I am also a former principal clarinet of the
Baton Rouge Symphony. As a soloist,, I like to explore the "non-standard"
literature, particularily unusual chamber combos. Which brings me to my
query...

Does anyone have any info as to where I might be able to get the parts to
Dohnanyi's sextet for cl., hn., pno., and strings? I know it is available
through a brass catalogue, but I don't know which one...

Also, does anyone know about availability of Carlos Surincah's Hollywood
Carnival for picc., cl., tpt., tbn. and perc? I have heard rumors that it
may only be rental. Also, is it a good piece(meaning is it as good as his
other work,Ritmo Jondo?)

That is all for me.

Sincerely,

Eric Anderson
