My own second-hand Noblet (made by or for Leblanc) came with a Corf mouthpiece
with which I could not control the instrument. I switched to a second-hande
VanDoren thing ("Thing" because it looks very odd) - I forget the model, I'm
afraid - which works much better, but generally not with VanDoren reeds (!?!).
It (and I) prefers LaVoz number 3s, which I have to sand down brutally; the
promising ones turn out to be too tiring to play on in their natural state.
