Hey, everyone.

Quick intro: I'm a music ed major at Central Mich University, and
have been on the list for a month now.

I must say I like it alot! There's all kinds of practical info that I can
use on clarinet, as well as a little info on my other instrument: sax.

But, to the point (it's 3:00 am, and I'm a little tired):

I was telling my dad about the discussion on woods and synthetic materials
for making clarinets, and he asked:

Why not make a clarinet out of graphite?

I don't know much about the properties of graphite, so forgive me if it's
a dumb request, but would it be possible?
