Good point! You know, I was going to post a message simply saying "the
Clarinette d'amour was in A" - but then looked at this books, so posted
what I found therein. But it could well be that an "A-flat" CdA is
really an A-horn at A415.

Which reminds me: one thing which puzzles me about modern chalumeaux is
that so many are pitched at A440, when their repertoire is baroque, and
if you want to play with an authentic instruments group you'll need A415...
