I'm curious about you're reaction to that thing. I haven't actually
played it (no mouthpiece with me), but I had a chance to hear the
Keilworth rep play the thing here in DC at the annual sax conf the
Navy Band sponsors. I think its sounds a bit honky. I prefer the
sound of the old curved sopranos to the straight ones too, although
I'm only aware of one vendor making them now (Yanigasawa).

Rasaan Roland Kirk used to play some of these (giving them names
like Strich) and they sounded interesting when he played them, but he's
sort of an acquired taste. ;-)
