For anyone who thinks we should all be able to transpose all bass clef parts
for bass clarinet in A:try the Nielson. Transposition is useful but there
are more important skills.

Anyone else have this experience? Anything I can hear at sight I can usually
transpose at sight. I recall a flute student who could not even listen to
B-flat clarinet while looking at the music. (had very good pitch)
