There's a charity musical review in DC that is all locally written.
The first time I played it a few years back, it was all handwritten.
This year, it was all printed by computer (which still didn't seem to
help one composer who decided to change from 3/4 to 4/4 and asked us
to 'transpose' the time signature -- why didn't he just reprint that
chart?).

We should refuse to play illegible chicken scribble! ;-)

(I guess this begs the question, what will musicologists of the
future do for a living? Hopefully, they'll have access to multiple
versions online, since they won't have original manuscripts to
paw over)
