I thought that I was the lone notator (other than composers). I used
MusicProse (from the makers of Finale) to input the entire Cesar Franck
Violin sonata, and then with the powers of transposition zapped the whole
thing into pitch for an A, beautiful, and no mistakes.
The next "toy" I would like to get is either a MIDI keyboard or a MIDI
input device that is compatible with clarinet (or microphone). Imagine the
fun you could have, not to mention you could transcribe... ANYTHING for
clarinet...
You could perhaps even start your own "micro-publishing" business,
releasing your favorite pieces (orchestral transpositions, etc).
