The Bundy contrabass was still made of "Resonite"(is this a registered name? -
it seems likely) the last time I saw a catalog(ue) - but not THEIR cat., a
supplier's. The Boosey & Hawkes "Regent" model was made of "Sonorite", which I
suspect is not enormously different.
