Nobody ever taught me how to do glissandi, but I've found that I do it by
changing the vowell shape of my mouth to that of a French "U" or "EU"
(German "UE" or "OE"). That somehow drops the pitch, and a combination
of modulating that shape, lip pressure, breath pressure, and possibly
gradual finger motion could get you the results you wish. Which of these
you use and in what combination depends on context: some registers of
the clarinet just bend more easily than others!
