Couesnon is a large firm in Paris making all varieties of instruments.
I've often heard them called the French C.G.Conn. That applies as far
as the spectrum of things they make. It might also be indicative of
the quality of some of their horns. They make a lot of inexpensive and
student models. As well as making a sax for M. Muhle, they made a custom
flute to Marcel Moyse's design after he was snubbed by Louis Lot not
admitting any other possibilities for making a flute.

My only personal knowledge of Cuesnon instruments is that some models of
their rotary valve D trumpets are considered good and fairly widely used.
As for clarinets ... I've don't recall ever seeing one.
