I saw them at a store in Paris in 1992 - but didn't take the time to try
them (I was being an organist on that trip, not a clarinetist!).

Oskar Kroll's book on the Clarinet mentions some German clarinets made of
Plexiglass, and said that Plexiglass clarinets "caused a sensation" at
the 1937 Paris World Exhibition.
